After a lengthy discussion with ISD regarding the Crew To Load (CTL) issue on the flights with simplified hot meal service(SH), ISD tentatively agreed to put 4 BC in YCL on all SH flights using A330 aircraft when the pax loading is more than 190, instead of 230 on 33C aircraft (the current arrangement).
Although the result is far from our expectation, what we have proposed was having 4 BC on all SH flights in YCL regardless of the loading, ISD has agreed to continue to review and make better adjustments if needed. (Therefore, we need to hear your voice!)
Also, the implementation of SH on PEK/PVG/HKT routes will be put on a later stage for trial. ISD has also agreed that the existing principal of full crew complement (i.e. NO C-T-L will be applied) on all PVG, SHA and PEK(908/9) is essential in order to meet the high expectations from our valued passengers.
ISD has committed to carefully study the crew complement and simplified service issue on those flights before they implement the SH.
For those flights such as DPS, BLR HND, FUK, PEN, which we reiterated that they are modified service only instead of simplified, ISD has also committed they will review.
Be reminded that according to ISD, this is all on a TRIAL basis, your feedback is important to let ISD knows if you can do it!
We need all of you to share your feelings and thoughts on those simplified flights. Please leave us comments via facebook inbox or email.
